NCVRW - Argrow's House

Across the country, organizations, elected officials and Americans will be calling attention to the struggles that crime victims face in this country. The theme of this year’s NCVRW is “rights, access, equity, for all victims.” According to the Office for Victims of Crime, this theme “underscores the importance of helping crime survivors find their justice by enforcing rights, expanding access to services, and ensuring equity and inclusion for all.”

This week, we will be highlighting some of the organizations across the state that support Iowa crime victims and help them find their justice. Today, we're highlighting Argrow's House based in Davenport. 

Argrow’s House is a house for healing for women and children who are survivors of domestic violence and abuse. They offer incredible programming aimed at helping survivors heal like art therapy, support groups, and food delivery. But Argrow’s is so much more than that. It’s also a social enterprise, hiring survivors to create bath and body products that are sold online and locally. They help survivors get on their feet, teach them skills, surround them with love and support and make our community and state better.
